hello,
it seems like two of my closest friends and i
took turns to emo
Beth is great.. its great to look into the future :)
today: finding the line between Faith and Feeling
sometimes,
i confess.. sometimes, when i do my Quiet Time, i end up falling asleep
sorry God
God, thank you for being so understanding and forgiving
was talking to a friend about it
this person, never falls asleep during QT and can do QT more than once a day
wow
the topic of Faith and Feeling was brought up.
ok.. many of us say that we go by feeling when doing things like
reading, writing and so on.
However, do we "FEEL" like praying?
can talking God be expressed as "Feel"?
to some, if not many, the "feel" of doing something doesnt come very often
only when the "feel" comes, then we do it
if it doesnt come, sometimes the action of doing something is forced, willed to do, if not, not done at all.
if we put prayer, interacting with God into this context
then
so to pray only when you want to? prayer is actully forced sometimes?
gosh!
then i hope that we would always have the feeling to pray!
talking about Faith
when we have faith, we believe in God whole heartedly
believing that God will answer our prayers
beliveing that God listens and believing that in God, everything is possible
being positive
how about this?
we combine A BIT of Feeling and Faith together?
can can? i am not sure this is right, correct me if am wrong
but this is my own opinion.
if we combine them both together
we can always have a good time praying and having faith at the same time
however
we should draw the line betweeen Faith and Feeling
then can have a much better QT and never doze off or anything
how to do it?
easy
pray, seek the lord
never give up
lets spend time with God :) he loves us lots!
